I Adore Agni
The first phrase of Rig Veda is translated as “I adore Agni”.
Agni is fire. The Sun is fire.
Everything revolves around the Sun.
Everything adores the Sun. Everything adores Agni.
Surya, the Sun, is the center of all that is.

Thoughts go on and on. The emotions churn relentlessly. Life can feel like a seething torrent of thoughts and emotions without end. Highs, lows, confusion, clarity, all leading to exhaustion. Yet there is a silent ocean that lies deep within you, beyond thoughts, beyond emotions, a field of peace referred to by the ancient sages as “the Self,” your Self, your inner being.
There is one universal Consciousness that we each tap into as our own individual awareness. Who and what you are is far beyond thoughts and emotions, incomprehensible, vast and unbounded. There is only one Consciousness, one field, one ocean. Yet every individual taps into it in the form of their own individual awareness. That ocean dwells at the depth of all things, all beings, all creatures, just like the silent depth of the ocean dwells as the source of every wave that churns upon its surface. Your consciousness is one with that Consciousness. Your being is one with that Being. You are that. All of this is nothing but that. You have only to find it within the depth of your being, within your soul.
It cannot be touched. It cannot be grasped. But like the sun, the rays of its influence emerging from the very source of all existence can be felt, radiating through your body. Those rays are called the soul. You can feel your soul. Follow your soul to the depth of the ocean. There is an ocean.
The Veda is similar to physics. It is the underlying structure of all existence.
Right-handed tantra is similar to engineering. It is the technology of the Veda.
Left-handed tantra is like when the fuse blows in your home. You have no fuses, so you put a piece of aluminum foil in place of the fuse. Fast results, but you can burn the house down.
The Rig Veda is composed of 10 Mandalas. Modern physics talks about the 10 dimensions of existence.
Ancient Rishis said that all of this is nothing but Consciousness. Many modern physicists are realizing that the unified field is quite simply, Consciousness.
Slowly, slowly, physicists are discovering the truth of the Veda.
Consider the following two verses from the Vedas:
This essentially means that the knowledge of life (Vedic Knowledge) is rooted in awareness of the Transcendental level of life. It then points out that without awareness of that level, the meaning of Vedic literature slips through one’s fingers. It asks the question, “If a person is not established in the Transcendental level of life, what use are the verses of the Veda to him?”
In the first verse, Lord Krishna points out that the Veda is not so useful to a person who is already awake to the depth of their being. In the second verse, it is pointed out that if a person isn’t awake to that deepest level of their being, they cannot understand the Veda.
It is commonly thought that a knower of Veda is someone who has memorized the verses. Are they really a knower of Veda if their being has not awoken to that level?
